Tax Credit

By replacing your home's old windows and doors with energy efficient Alpha products you may qualify for a tax credit of up to $1,500 on your 2009 or 2010 federal income tax return.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 offers federal tax credits for eligible building components replaced between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010. All Alpha Vinyl Windows qualify under the new law's requirements of a U-Factor less than or equal to 0.30 and a Solar Heat Gain coefficient (SHGC) less than or equal to 0.30. The law provides a tax credit of 30 percent of the cost of qualifying upgrades, up to a maximum of $1500 per household for 2009 and 2010.

See www.energystar.gov/taxcredits for more details.
